On Sept. 13, 2015, the St. Stepanos Women’s Guild held a special fellowship in celebration of the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross. The Chairs of the event Marie Haytaian and Ginny Sabonjian  with their committee comprised of Lori Lombardi, Anna Marie Rooney, Sonia Toufayan, Nancy Takakjian, Mary Ann Berberian, Shogik Khachatryan, Eliza Minasyan, Mary Gorra, Mary Ann Tutunjian, Mariam Corrigan and Yeretzgin Mariam organized a Pot Luck Luncheon which was far from just luck.

Our parishioners enjoyed a wonderful dinner and all had this only sentiment “shat hamov eh.” The dinner had a great assortment of appetizers, main dishes and desserts providing the parish with a culinary delight. In the Armenian tradition the dishes and desserts were so plentiful many took home a second meal.
With the support and advice of the Guild Chairwoman, Silva Terjanian and Corresponding Secretary Ala Manokian the event had good attendance. Sylva Bakhtiarian and Ofig Jidarian did there usual good work as Treaurer and Assistant at the door. Thanks to those who prepared such wonderful dishes and those who made monetary contributions. All were supportive of a memorable and financially successful day.
