Saintly Women’s Day hosted by our Women’s Guild

On Saturday, March 18, 2017, the St. Stepanos Women’s Guild hosted a service and program to honor Saintly Women of Vartanantz. Members of other New Jersey parishes also joined in commemoration.
The day started with Rev. Fr. Daniel Karadjian and Rev. Fr. Arakel Vardazaryan leading in prayer at a church service. Following the service, the participants gathered in the beautifully decorated church hall for a luncheon, where they were welcomed by Silva Terjanian, Women’s Guild Chairwoman.

Everybody enjoyed the delicious Lenten food prepared by Women’s Guild members, and listened to musical selections sung by Alyne Corrigan. Guest speaker, Dr. Roberta Ervine, spoke about faith and Armenian women. Everybody was happy to celebrate Saintly Women’s Day 2017 together.
