What can be better than gathering for a Thanksgiving feast with a family?

That is exactly how everyone felt on Sunday, November 20, 2022, at the St. Stepanos Thanksgiving Luncheon sponsored by the Women’s Guild.

The Sirvart Hovnanian Hall was decorated beautifully with the seasonal theme.

The traditional Thanksgiving dishes prepared by women of the St. Stepanos community were served in a family style making the occasion so much more festive and intimate.

Ghapama, stuffed pumpkin, an Armenian holiday dish was a wonderful addition to give an Armenian to our favorite American holiday.

The famous “Ghapama” song is always in the air whenever the Ghapama dish is served, filling all with joy.

Around seventy people attended the luncheon.

They prayed together, shared food together, and felt the bliss of being part of the community, a community that can spread its wings and reaches out beyond St. Stepanos.
