The Feast of the Holy Translators

The St. Stepanos Women’s Guild chaired and coordinated an event with Armenian School teachers and students on Sunday, October 31st in honor of The Feast of the Holy Translators, which is the foundation for celebrating October as a cultural month. Guests were treated to a variety of delicious dishes including the beloved seasonal dish “ghaplama“, along with wonderful readings and performances by the children. Older students shared their perspectives about the war in Artsakh, while younger students shared poems about fall, and the entire group sang and danced to traditional Armenian folk music. The event was a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together and experience their shared Armenian culture.
